Toshiko Hasegawa Hired as New JACL Fund Development Manager

Seattle, WA – Toshiko Hasegawa has been hired as the new JACL Fund Development Manager. She will be responsible for managing and developing fund development and planned giving programs.

Toshiko Hasegawa is a fourth-generation yonsei from Seattle, WA. Most recently, she served as the Campaign Manager for Representative Sharon Tomiko Santos. Previously, she worked in the office of Senator Adam Kilne of the 37th legislative district in Washington State and at the Seattle office of Senator Patty Murray as her immigration intern. She graduated from Seattle University where she earned degrees in Criminal Justice and Spanish Language, which she speaks fluently. She has extensive experience in grassroots fundraising and her passion for community empowerment is reflected in her work on a variety of campaign trails, political offices, and extracurricular volunteer experience. In 2014, she served as President of the Seattle JACL Chapter, which was honored with the George J. Inagaki Chapter of the Biennium Award at the 2014 JACL National Convention.
