JACL business manager, Matt Walters has moved to Japan which leaves a huge hole in JACL’s staffing. Matt has managed the business functions for the organization admirably, particularly in the area of financial management, and will be greatly missed. While Matt will be continuing to assist with financial management until we find a replacement, his role is one we need to fill immediately.
We are also say good bye to one of our fellows this week, Elle Kurata, who will soon be going to work at Global Zero, a nuclear non-proliferation advocacy organization in New York City. We have not yet hired a fellow to begin this fall and are re-opening applications for a fellow to begin immediately. See here for more information about the fellowship. Please follow the link HERE to apply.
